I think we have far relied on technology and very much depended on this piece of innovation to a point one just assumes life goes on. I think there is an argument to be made about this, that humans would be in very serious trouble without it. I know some might be quick to dismiss this argument but there good arguments to be made on both sides, but for me, I think I cannot imagine all our satellites coming to a halt. and every piece of system crashing and every computers, laptops, tvs, mobiles and piece of digital communication blank. Imagine your hospitals, travel (driving, sea and air), schools, banks, video conferences, radio stations, shops, bars, hotels, etc etc.
I think for me, I just cannot imagine the develop world without this piece of innovation even for 24 hours, the consequences are far too much to bare. I rest my case.
